At UScellular, my work included an AI network analysis tool that went into production in the Network Operations Center (NOC), an API monitoring app wired to PagerDuty, and a caller verification tool that saved over $300K a year.
My work at UScellular
- Service Impact Detection: an AI network analysis tool that went into production in the NOC. I led the team of nine that built it. We won the 2024 company hackathon with it.
- API monitoring wired to PagerDuty: a Python and Flask app I built in 2025. Change validation time fell 85%.
- One Time PIN: I built a bare-bones version of the caller verification tool and got it approved. Then I worked with developers and middleware teams to take it to production. It saved over $300K a year.
- I ran 50 to 150 major incidents a year on BMC Remedy with paging through PagerDuty. I followed every one through the problem management workflow to root cause and corrective action.
- I built Tableau dashboards for MTTR and other incident and problem metrics. Leaders used them to push MTTR down about 20% year over year across IT and Engineering.

Projects
Anabolix
An AI coaching app for serious athletes, covering training, nutrition, bloodwork and TRT management. It remembers each athlete's history and bases its advice on their own data.
A React Native and Expo front end, a Python or Node backend with an LLM API, and Supabase/Postgres for data.
Built and shipped solo.
Live on the Apple App Store, with Google Play release pending.
RuoGate
A store platform for research-use-only peptide vendors, designed so payment processors can read it. Catalogs are gated behind vendor approval of each researcher, lab paperwork is shown as issued, and 37 automated checks run before a store goes live.
Outside of work
I once weighed 495 lb. I lost weight, gained a lot of muscle and now weigh 203 lb. That's where my interest in the health industry and what I call "biohacking" comes from. It's also why I build health and training software.
I've always loved grape-flavored drinks and slushies, and the color purple. My wife came up with the name "grapeslush". Lots of friends now call me Slush, in person too.
